Problems with Payroll?

Payroll Sorted have really taken the stress out of payroll for us. It’s like having your own payroll department, knowing that there is always someone there to process the wages and cover holidays, etc. They are awesome people and always try to help as much as possible!

The top two reasons we have been pleased with our choice to use Payroll Sorted for the last 10 months are recruitment and process. We haven’t had to recruit, train, re train payroll skills within the firm on a rolling cycle basis every period of say 2 years. Our team don’t tend to want to work in payroll permanently and want to do a variety of work. We would need approx 1.5 payroll people full time so represents challenges. We are far more comfortable using Payroll Sorted as a provider and it’s a hybrid outsourcing arrangement as the firm continues to charge the client for the full package of services and owns the relationship but the work is carried out by a dedicated payroll team. Secondly, payroll sorted are far better at payroll than we are. Their process is better, their knowledge is better, everything they do is more complete and comprehensive. It gives complete piece of mind. Finally, like anything, it’s not perfect. Nothing is when you are dealing with handovers from previous firms and communicating with clients yet we do our best and the blame is not our end. By us I mean our team plus payroll sorted who I consider an extension of our team. It works great and was really pleased with the intro in March 2021 from industry heavyweights James Ashford and Simon Chaplin.

I’m also happy with them. We moved on 6/4 mostly from Xero and some clients didn’t like losing the visibilty they had. Some we already had on Brightpay and employees just need to point their app differently. They are very helpful.
